What Manner of Persons Ought Ye Be
In 2 Peter, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John we learn about the second coming of the Lord. The scriptures say that "the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night". We have all heard the story of the ten virgins and know that every many has to prepare for himself and a last minute preparation or a "borrowed" testimony will not be enough. This past weekend was general conference where we were able to listen to God's apostles and prophet. We were able to witness a solemn assemble where we were able to sustain a new prophet, his counselors, the 12 apostles, the quorum of the 70, and local church leaders all over the world. Seven new temples were announced, some of which are in countries where this will be the first temple. We listened to changes that were made in relief society and priesthood where we will be able to minister better like in the times of Christ. All in all, it was a conference that was full of power.
